Terms of Service

The service
Fairest is a workspace platform for loan officers evaluating moves between mortgage companies. By using Fairest, you agree to these terms.
Account responsibilities
The loan officer is the account holder. Companies you invite into journeys are guests with scope limited to the specific journey they were invited to. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for the accuracy of the data you enter.
Don't share your account with others. Don't impersonate someone you're not. Don't harass invited contacts. If you wouldn't do it on a recorded video call, don't do it on Fairest.
Data ownership
You own the data you put into Fairest. Companies invited into your journeys do not gain rights to your data beyond what is shared in that specific journey. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Community signals (the aggregate ranking percentages you see on question templates) are derived from anonymized statistics. They never reveal any individual user's ranking choices.
Acceptable use
Don't use Fairest to scrape community signals or other users' data. Don't use it to harass invited contacts or other members. Don't use it to impersonate someone else. Don't reverse-engineer the platform for the purpose of competing with it.
Disclaimers
Fairest is provided "as is" during the early access period. The math, recommendations, and benchmarks are illustrative and should not be your sole input for a career decision. Always verify numbers with the prospective company directly. Fairest doesn't provide legal, tax, or financial advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fairest and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim — which is zero during the early access period.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time by emailing support@fairest.app. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. Any disputes will be resolved in courts located in Ohio.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we'll notify active users by email.
